Voice of the Seal/ Nature Retreat

Voice of the Seal

A weekend in Nature to connect to your own Soul's voice

Schiermonnikoog | Friday 23 till Sunday 25 May 2025

What? In a group of like-minded creative souls, we travel north of the Netherlands to connect to our intuitive Nature of creative flow. Letting the Sea, Stars and Seal remind us of how it is to feel connected to the magic of life and let it guide us.

Why? We often feel disconnected from our creativity, playfulness, and intuitive knowing. This retreat offers a transformative opportunity to answer the call for change, let go of the old, and trust our own inner guidance, ability, and leadership.

The Seal is a symbol of lucid dream reality. It represents our Soul's connection to the ocean and our collective consciousness. We can lose our sense of belonging to all through daily worries, stress, and business. What if Nature is inviting us to slow down, arrive, be present, and listen from an embodied sensing openness?

This retreat is an invitation to arrive in yourself and find centered clarity.

Schiermonnikoog is a beautiful island in the north of the Netherlands. No cars. One village. The clear star sky wave us and remind us of our galactic citizenship. The whales, seals, and ocean call us to connect to our souls' voices and sing in our deep longing to connect, sense, and know our Nature's truth.

The invitation We are expressing creators. Our voices are bridges, creating a path that might not seem visible yet, but our feet, hearts and Nature know the way.

Join me in this quest to open the next step in our creative journey.

For who? Creatives ready to connect to their inner guidance. We practice the art of co-creation as a tribe, letting intuition and the right moment, place, and step guide us. And cook together.

I will guide, hold space, and give you tools to open your voice and creative flow and expand your consciousness of being. We are infinitely more powerful than we know, and we can access it when we open ourselves to listen, play, and explore beyond our limited intellect, trusting our intuitive Nature to guide us in the unknown.

When/ how? Friday 23 till Sunday 25 May 2025, on the island of (no car) Schiermonnikoog.

Friday afternoon, we arrive and set camp to settle in. We cook together, and then I will create a guided journey to connect us with the Seal and activate our dream body and reality.

Saturday - session in Nature. In the evening ceremony on the beach under the stars!

Sunday, we will have another session in Nature, where we will allow the inspiration we've found to take voice and clarity in our creative expressions. Then packing up, leaving no traces and departure.

Way of working?  I will give you clear and playful entrances and exercises to help you connect to your body, voice, senses, and Nature. You will be guided to connect and awaken your intuition and trust in your own voice of creative flow.

Price? Sliding scale 180 - 380 - 580 euro (lower price end for students & low income)

(If you wish to have a check-in session after the retreat to help you integrate the guidance you've received, you can add this to your experience for an additional cost of 80 - 100 - 120 euros.)

Who am I? Leela May Stokholm is an Amsterdam-based professional performance artist, teacher, coach, and ceremony holder. I see myself as a creative soul committed to playfully rebuilding my deep connection and trust in (my) Nature by sharing my journey of curious and creative flow as authentically as I can in playful co-creation. I warmly invite you to join me.

People say my workshops and coaching style is warm, clear, playful, and profound. I have 20 years of professional experience as a teacher, coach, and performance artist, including 12 years of experience teaching voice improvisation (Briesen) at the Mime School (ATD) in Amsterdam and other art academies.

With ‘Voice as a Bridge’ I combine my love for Nature, improvising, shamanic studies (Paleolithic shamanism/ wisdom keeper with Chief Dancing Thunder), teaching, and learning. Since 2018 I have offered voice workshops, trajectories, ceremonies, guided journeys, and 1:1 coaching. This retreat is the first of a series called 'Voice of the North'.

“This journey has opened an even bigger space for creativity and spontaneity for me—a space that does not come from my head but from my body and the Earth. Singing, playing, drawing, storytelling, freedom, dancing, running, climbing – it all gives so much joy. “ Amber Rijken, after the Voice of the Wolf journey

“I find it admirable how strong and sensitive you are at the same time. The dynamic and the trust between each other in the group is fantastic, and this comes from the vulnerability and power through which you coach us, and the trust that you (and we you) give.” Heleen Franssen, Special week Buitenkunst
